Presentation abstract: Precise tooth shade determination is critical for aesthetically pleasing dental restorations. This presentation reviews various shade-matching methods, their strengths, and limitations. VITA, a leader in this field for over 100 years, offers analog and digital solutions that can be combined for enhanced accuracy. Supported by scientific evidence, these approaches ensure reliable outcomes. The speaker will explore the integration of these techniques and their impact on successful restorations, offering insights for dental professionals and academics.
